1998-1999 Chevy Astro GMC Safari Passlock Security Module
1998 and 1999 Chevrolet Astro and GMC Safari use a security system called “Passlock”
This module, which communicates the key information with the PCM is a common failure point in this system.
These passlocks are obsolete and unavailable from GM. We offer rebuilt passlock modules using the highest quality components. Modules cost $250.00 including shipping, no core charge.
There are two different part numbers for these parts.
16265005, and 09352885. These are not interchangeable so please make sure you know which part your van has.
